International forestry summer school "Strengthening the resilience of forests to climate change"

International forestry summer school is inviting students of forestry and forestry-related students!

As part of the LIFE-IP CARE4CLIMATE project, the Slovenian Forestry Institute is organizing an international forestry summer school 2022 "Strengthening the resilience of forests to climate change", which will take place in Postojna, Slovenia from July 18 to 22, 2022. The program will focus on silvicultural solutions and best practices, which we successfully use in Central Europe to strengthen the resilience of forests to climate change. The summer school will also include a full-day excursion to the Kočevje region.

The summer school will be conducted by dr. Eckart Senitza (Pro Silva, Austria) and dr. Boštjan Mali (Slovenian forestry institute) in cooperation with colleagues from the Slovenian Forestry InstituteSlovenia State Forests d.o.o., the Slovenia Forest Service and the University of Ljubljana, BF, the Department of Forestry and Renewable Forest Resources.
